Best websites to find and apply for scholarships?

Bold.org, Scholarships360, and the scholarship page on CollegeBoard are good places to start. I keep track of all my applications in a Google Doc so I don’t lose track of deadlines.

Are these actually worth the effort compared to school-based scholarships?

Anyone actually win anything from Bold.org? I applied for a few but wasn’t sure if it was worth spending more time on it.

@Hayden
Did you get any scholarships, or does it just feel like an ad site?

No luck so far, but I only applied to a few. A lot of them required essays, and I wasn’t sure if it was worth the time.

Bold.org feels like an advertisement hub. I applied too but have no idea if it’s legit.

Same, I’m still trying to figure that out.

Make sure to check your college portal. Some schools have automatic scholarships that you don’t need to apply for separately.

Fastweb is another good one.

If you’re Hispanic, check out BestColleges.com. It has a good list of scholarships for Hispanic and Latino students.

Try searching for scholarships specific to your state and major. For example, look up ‘Texas women STEM scholarships’ if that applies to you. Scholarship America is another good resource since it matches you to scholarships based on your profile.

@Aris
Are these better than the ones my school finds for us?
