How Do You Approach Coolidge Scholarship Essays?

Hey, I’ve been working on the Coolidge scholarship this week and I’m stuck on how to approach essays 2 and 3. I’m not sure if I should write in a formal, academic tone or if I should connect Coolidge’s beliefs and policies to my personal experiences. Does anyone who has worked on these essays have some advice? Scholars, finalists, or anyone else applying, I’d love to hear your thoughts!

Did you have to read the whole book to apply?

I read it, but I finished in like two days. It wasn’t bad at all, you could just listen to the audiobook.

Will you be applying?

Probably not… I’d need recommendations and I don’t have enough time.

True, true.
