I'm ambidextrous, can I apply for left-handed scholarships?

I am ambidextrous, as the title suggests. While looking through scholarships, I noticed some are available for left-handed individuals. Can I still apply for these, or would my use of both hands make me ineligible?

Also, just a quick note, I would appreciate it if you didn’t ask which hand I use more frequently, as it depends on the activity. I get that question a lot, so I hope you understand. No offense intended.

It might not be the most ethical option, but if you’re struggling to find scholarships and tuition is due, then…

I think it depends on the question. Is it ethical? Probably not, since those scholarships are meant for left-handed people who face disadvantages in a world designed mostly for right-handed individuals, which can even lead to injuries or other issues. Being ambidextrous puts you at an advantage. Can it be done? Yes. You could say you use your left hand for writing and other tasks, which isn’t a lie if you occasionally do use your left hand for those things.

That makes sense—thanks for your answer.
I probably won’t apply for one of those scholarships after all; I hadn’t thought about it that way before.

Just start using your left hand whenever someone looks like they might be checking your eligibility.

Hmm, not too sure… It depends on the scholarship. You might want to check the fine print or ask them directly.
