Is there a way to get a scholarship without taking the ACT? I feel like it’s too late to take it now

I’m worried that it’s too late to take the ACT, but I really need a scholarship. Is there any way to get one without submitting an ACT score?

Yes, I got a scholarship without an ACT score.

My school based their scholarships on GPA for eligibility. I was selected after writing an essay that was picked.

It depends on where you’re applying. For example, The University of Mississippi accepts ACT scores for automatic merit scholarships (along with GPA) up until August, right before classes start. They’ll accept scores from any test you take and will increase the scholarship amount as your score goes up. Many other colleges won’t do this. You should research your options and go from there.
