What is the National Society of Collegiate Scholars (NSCS)?

I just received a letter saying I was nominated to the NSCS. Does anyone know what this organization is about and what members do? Thanks in advance!

The National Society of Collegiate Scholars (NSCS) is an honors organization dedicated to recognizing and elevating high-achieving students. NSCS offers career and graduate school connections, leadership and service opportunities, and exclusive scholarships, awards, and chapter funds.

They are a non-profit group that says they can help you get more scholarships and make connections with other college students than any other group. To join, you have to pay $97.

Congrats on your NSCS nomination! It’s a national honor society recognizing high-achieving first and second-year students. Membership connects you with peers, boosts your resume, and offers scholarships. Check out https://nscs.org/ to learn more!

It is legitimate. My cousin also got nominated and she joined a year ago.
