A White Male in STEM

I’m a white male in STEM, and while my parents earn a decent income, they don’t have much to help with my expenses, so I really need financial assistance. I’ve had little success finding scholarships that I’m eligible for or have a chance of winning. Is there any hope? Does anyone know of any scholarships I might be able to apply for?

I’d recommend looking for local scholarships. I’m also a STEM major, but as a Hispanic male, most of my grants came from my high school. I’m happy to say that my tuition is fully covered by grants. However, I don’t have any funds for housing, and finding scholarships specifically for housing can be challenging.

I run a merit-based scholarship foundation for high school seniors entering the STEM field. Applications are due by April 2025, and results will be announced around May 1, 2025. Here’s the link:

Can college freshmen apply?

No, we’re still a small foundation and don’t have the resources to support that yet. Looking ahead, I plan to introduce programs for current college students, like professional development networks and alumni engagement. Are these things you’d be interested in, or do you think current high school seniors would find them useful?

Elks MVS if your stats are strong.
