Hey everyone,I applied for a bunch of scholarships back in high school, but now that I’m in college, I’m wondering if there are any worth applying for. Maybe something related to social impact or computer science? I’d rather avoid the random no-essay ones.Appreciate any recommendations!
There are a lot out there. Check if undergrads are eligible in the requirements.

Got any specific ones in mind? Most of what I’m finding are the no-essay ones that don’t seem worth it.
@Nari
Here are some sites we’ve used. Sometimes they say they’re for high schoolers, but undergrads can apply too. Just gotta check the fine print.- Monica Matthews has a monthly list you can sign up for via email.
- Dave at scholarshipgps.com sends out daily scholarship updates.- careeronestop.com – mostly career info, but has a small scholarship list.- scholarship360.com – decent list, not spammy.
- fastweb.com – my favorite, though they send a lot of emails. Great matching system but tricky to search.
- goingmerry.com – shows % match for each scholarship.
- scholarshipamerica.com – smaller but solid list.
- scholarshipowl.com – good tips but a messy site. Don’t pay, just use the free matching.
- scholarships.com – solid database, not too many emails.
- verifiedscholarships.com – all the listings are checked to be legit.
- jlvcollegecounseling.com – no signup needed, good lists.
- scholarshipbuddy[state].com – state-specific options.
- dosomething.com – action-based, not essay-based scholarships.
- unigo.com – tons of scholarships, competitive but creative essays.
- discover.com – mostly lottery-based, but their search tool is helpful.
