Anyone else feel stuck applying for scholarships?

I’ve been applying to scholarships every day, like one or two, to help pay for school this semester and next year. I keep wondering if I’m doing enough. Most of my day, I just relax after applying, but a part of me feels like I should be doing more. At the same time, I don’t want to overdo it and lose the energy to keep going. I know most of the scholarships I apply for won’t work out, but I still can’t shake the feeling. What do you all think? Any tips?

Where are you finding so many scholarships? I can’t seem to locate that many to apply for.

I use websites like scholarships.com and niche. My school also recommended UNCF and TMCF since I’m at an HBCU. That helps me find smaller ones.

Are you focusing on the big, general scholarships or smaller, specific ones?

I do a mix. I try for smaller, local ones when I find them, but I also go for big ones that match my major or financial situation.

From what I’ve seen, it’s usually better to aim for big ones like Gates or QuestBridge. Local ones are okay, but they don’t always make much of a difference.

Thanks for the advice. I only got a couple of small scholarships in high school, so I’m still figuring out how to cover the rest of my tuition.
