I’m a nursing student looking for a drawing scholarship that doesn’t require you to be an art major to qualify. I’m not a fan of writing essays.
I’ve come across a few, but the only one I can remember right now is a greeting card scholarship. It’s an annual thing, so you can probably find it with a quick Google search.
OMG, thank you! Have you found any others? I’m not an essay person, and it’s so frustrating that essays are the main way to judge someone’s eligibility for scholarships, as if no other hobbies or talents exist.
There are actually many scholarships now accepting video entries. If you’re open to that, you’ll find a lot more opportunities. Additionally, my son wrote a 1200-word essay and adapted it for various scholarships, so he didn’t have to write entirely new essays each time.
Art scholarships are similar to other scholarships in that you need to have good grades and go through an application process.
