Sincerely, I am rather interested because I do not see many individuals claiming to have received scholarships, and I think a lot of us have been misled into believing that there are millions of unclaimed scholarships out there simply waiting to award you money. Just wondering how much people truly receive from applying for scholarships as opposed to wasting their time elsewhere.
At first, I was not sure if it was worth it, but after applying to many different scholarships, I ended up getting several awards that added up to about $15,000. It was not easy and I had to apply to a lot of them, but in the end, it was worth the effort. The money isn’t just there waiting for you, but if you put in the work, you can definitely get a good amount.
I focused on specific scholarships that matched my field of study and community involvement and that approach worked well for me.
I applied for around 30 scholarships and won a few, which added up to $3,000. It was not as much as I had hoped, but it was still helpful. The important part was finding scholarships that matched my background and field of study.
