Help with Scholarships

Hello!

I am a first-year student attending ASU for GIT in Fall 2024.

I’m an independent resident, if that matters. My high school didn’t offer much university prep, so I’m unsure where to start with scholarships.

I have financial aid, but any additional help would be great. Can anyone recommend scholarships or websites to browse for them?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Totally hear you on needing some scholarship help. First-year and independent resident, that’s a lot to juggle. Financial aid is a great start, but scholarships can definitely help ease the burden.

Although thousands of people register for the typical websites, your best chance is to apply for scholarships and initiatives that could sponsor you locally.

What makes you special? First generation, minority, gifted musician, desire to become a teacher?

Many websites offer scholarships for international students.
Here are a few:

  • Career Acada
  • EAFinder
  • Academic Related
  • World Scholarship Forum
  • Scholars4Dev
  • Mastersportal

The first three might not be as well-known, but they’re trustworthy.

Good luck with your scholarship search.

Consult with your school counselor for guidance.
