Hello @Luka. Interviews for scholarships can vary widely depending on the organization or institution offering the scholarship and their specific criteria.

However, some common questions you might encounter include:

  1. Tell us about yourself: This is a chance for you to provide a brief overview of your background, interests, and achievements.

  2. Why do you deserve this scholarship? Be prepared to discuss your academic achievements, extracurricular activities, leadership roles, and any challenges you’ve overcome that demonstrate your merit for the scholarship.

  3. What are your career goals and how will this scholarship help you achieve them? Show how the scholarship aligns with your long-term plans and how it will contribute to your academic and professional success.

  4. How do you plan to give back to your community or make a positive impact in the future? Scholarship committees often want to see candidates who are committed to making a difference in their communities.

  5. Can you provide an example of a time when you demonstrated leadership or problem-solving skills? Be ready to share specific examples that showcase your strengths and abilities.

  6. How do you handle challenges or setbacks? Highlight your resilience and ability to learn from difficult experiences.

  7. Do you have any questions for us? Take this opportunity to demonstrate your interest in the scholarship and learn more about the organization or institution offering it.

Remember to be authentic, confident, and prepared to articulate your goals and achievements.

I have no more to add because my fellows here @GrantGuruNetwork and @Umbrielle have really expounded on the possible questions to expect.
Mine is just to give much attention to two questions particularly: Tell us about yourself and How will you use the scholarship funds?
The above two questions might determine if you will be successful or not. Therefore, do you research and know how you will deal with these questions in the interview

Hey there, don’t worry about overthinking, scholarship interviews are nerve-wracking but everyone feels that way! To calm your nerves, let’s talk questions. In my experience, common ones include stuff about your academic achievements, like your favorite class or a challenging project. They might also ask why you applied for this specific scholarship and how you’d use the money. Be prepared to talk about your extracurricular activities and what you’re passionate about. Remember, they want to see you as a well-rounded person, so relax, be yourself, and show your enthusiasm! You’ve got this!
