Scholarship fatigue is real!

How do people find time to search and apply for so many scholarships with work, school, and everything else going on? It’s tough because so many scholarships need a lot of time and effort, and it’s frustrating not to win after all that work. Any tips for making the process easier?

Try setting aside an hour or two each day for it and use a Google Sheet to keep track.

It definitely seems like putting in a lot of hours for research and applying to as many scholarships as possible gives you a better chance.

It’s pretty straightforward—I love nearly free money. Plus, it’s all about perspective and experience. I’d rather spend 30 minutes to a couple of hours on a scholarship application for a shot at winning than work 8 hours a day in customer service for a guaranteed but low pay.

I’ve doubled my income and covered my tuition for 2024-2025 just by doing scholarships. That alone is a huge motivator for me.

It’s all about what you really want to do. If you’re interested in studying abroad, you’ll go for it no matter what. If not, maybe look into other options like applying to a national college or something else. Good luck!

I feel for everyone who’s endlessly applying for scholarships. I didn’t have any luck with national ones—they’re just too competitive. I focused on local scholarships instead and ended up winning quite a few. They’re way less competitive and offer more opportunities. Of course, opportunities can vary depending on where you’re from; I’m in California.

Absolutely, scholarship fatigue is a real challenge. It can be overwhelming to manage multiple applications and maintain high standards. Finding ways to stay organized and motivated can help.
