Hi guys, I’m an aspiring lawyer and I’m looking for advice on securing scholarships for law school. Any advice from those who have funded their legal education through scholarships would be greatly appreciated.

Start searching early. Use websites like Going Merry to find scholarships that fit you. They do a good job of matching you with ones you’re eligible for.
Second, apply to as many as you can. Even small ones add up. Don’t be afraid of the effort – it’s worth it!
Third, make sure your application stands out. Write a great personal statement, and get strong letters of recommendation. Show them why you’re passionate about law and what makes you unique.
Lastly, look for local scholarships. Sometimes local organizations have less competition.
