Hi! I’m curious about UT Austin’s scholarship notification process. Do they inform students about scholarships alongside the admission decision, or is there a specific date for all scholarship announcements?
By the way, I’m aware Texas Exes scholarships are awarded in April/May. I’m interested in the university’s own scholarships, not those from the alumni program.

hi there. At UT Austin, scholarship notifications are provided independently of admission decisions. Students will find scholarship information in their initial Financial Aid Notification (FAN). Be sure to regularly check your email and the financial aid portal for any updates! 
Generally, the university may inform students about certain scholarships alongside their admission decision, particularly for highly competitive scholarships or those with specific criteria.
