I’ve been applying to so many scholarships, and it’s starting to feel impossible. The only one I have any hope for is my school’s scholarship, but it’s a really small amount. How many scholarships should I apply for to have even a small chance? Maybe it’s because I’m going after the popular ones? I’ve been trying to find scholarships that not many people apply to, but they’re so hard to spot. People always say there’s a ton of unclaimed scholarship money, but where is it? Any advice?
It’s so annoying how hard it is to find legit scholarships. I’ve applied to 13 so far, and out of those, I only made it to the next round for one. Three have already rejected me.
Totally understand what you’re saying. My family and I are focusing on 10 scholarships that have bigger awards. But yeah, while searching, so many of them seem like they’re just collecting your info. It’s really frustrating.
Try checking with local community groups. Things like Shriners, VFW, or other smaller organizations. They might have scholarships people don’t think to apply for.
Yeah, it’s honestly just hard to find good ones that aren’t overly competitive.
